Miami Art Basel Week WrapUp
12/6 was our last night to make work in Miami. WynHOOD we will miss you!
Catching up on posting images after a mega work week in Miami. Art Basel was off the chain. Working with Shane & Luz from Art Whino at The TAKEOVER 12/4 was GREAT!! DC LOVE > YO! We kicked it. The artists in the show were all amazing and doing light graffiti live at the party was such a great time! Thanks to all who attended!!0 CO2 ONE WISH
0 CO2 ONE WISH, 2010Last night we went to Retna’s opening at Primary Projects Space in Miami. BANGIN show and a nice guy too. I mentioned the need for manufacturers to develop a clean spray paint that is as good as the dirty stuff and we chatted for a sec about that need. I told him I was going over to make a piece on his wall at the Margulies Warehouse, but I didn’t say what exactly. I’ve been thinking a lot about Bill Gates’ TED talk and his ONE WISH for innovative energy miracles for ZERO CO2 emission.

Baseless, 2010 (for P. Elaine)
Got to Miami late this afternoon.
Was thinking about a variety of ideas starting with on line referring to the drawing show currently at MoMA and about my own on line dance in the streets.
Went to Art Basel opening and had eyes full which led to artburn.
Have been thinking about war games and wikileaks all week.
Texted P Elaine w/ my new Droid and it typed out Baseless when I entered Basel. hahah The highlight of the night was the bikegang! My new fun friends that rode up on the photo shoot
super excited!
THANKS LADIES!!! XO

Portable Power, 1984
Flashback to Vintage Vicki..1984 with her brand new Kawasaki generator and Radio Flyer red wagon ready to take on Brooklyn! I used to ride my bike over the Williamsburg bridge everyday to work at the messenger center where I was a dispatcher for a minute. I would meet the Brooklyn bike messengers at the bridge and we would ride to work. I wanted to do light graffiti photos up there really bad and so once I saved up & got my generator I was in business. Hauled that sucker around Brooklyn along with my palette of color light bulbs and extension cords. What a great time that was!!!!
